What cookies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser to support functions, remember choices or attribute referrals. Services may also use identifiers and similar storage technologies.

Website functions

WordPress uses cookies for administrator authentication and session security. The language is selected through the Arabic or English page URL and does not require a BookMe account.

Travel tools

Travelpayouts and its partners may use cookies or identifiers to provide search and attribute eligible referrals. BookMe also loads the embedded Stay22 map after a hotel search is requested on the homepage, and the map appears on the Hotels page too. Stay22 may use cookies or identifiers under its settings and policies. Duration and behaviour vary by service. When visiting a booking provider, review its consent controls and privacy notice.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies through browser settings. Blocking may affect search features and referral attribution. To block requests to external travel tools, use your browser’s protection settings or avoid running those tools.

Google advertising

If Google ads are introduced, relevant disclosures and consent controls must be configured before serving them, including a certified consent platform where Google’s regional requirements apply. A simple cookie notice alone is not that configuration.

Language preferences and GeoIP

BookMe may store your language preference and consent choice in your browser’s local storage, and use session storage to avoid repeating a language redirect during a visit. If you consent to country-based selection, your browser sends its IP address to GeoJS to read the country code and choose Arabic or English. This request is not made before consent, and BookMe does not store your IP address or country code. You can decline country-based selection and use your browser language, or change your consent using the “Language and privacy settings” link in the site footer.
